Pop idol Hatsune Miku, whose name means, “first sound of the future,” is a Vocaloid (meaning machine-made vocals) digital female avatar and the most popular of the Vocaloid Character Series software originally created by Crypton Future Media, Inc. using Yamaha’s Vocaloid 2 engine to create organic-sounding synthesized vocal tracks.
In Japan, Hatsune Miku is a major national phenomenon and has appeared in numerous popular video games and music videos. She’s also played several enthusiastic “concerts,” where she performs on stage projected as a 3D hologram and backed by a live band. Miku recently played her first live concert in the U.S. called, “MIKUNOPOLIS in LOS ANGELES,” at the Nokia Theatre for the 2011 Anime Expo, held this past July in Los Angeles, CA. I was allowed to purchase one, but i could not up my quantity to 2. and i refilled the info to purchase a second ticket, then realized there’s no barcode’s, only an email! >.> i hope they maid barcode’s in a week…. that way i get both tickets i purchased… really wanna go
i’m so confused so it’s in movie theaters for one day only
and you get to buy the blu ray dvd and cd for it help me out for some reason i’m getting confused with this
I’m not sure about the merchandise. However, the screening in theaters seems to be a different day depending on what theater. (also, there are two different shows, both $20)
also, when i called the corporate office for the theater, it was a hassle to get information. i was transferred to the specific theater, and they know nothing about this! >.> hope it’s not a scam…
Is anyone else having trouble purchasing tickets? If so, I’ll try to get a hold of my VIZ contact.
The theater has informed me that they are only renting out the area, and that they are not in charge of the event, which is private. the tickets are still, to my knowledge, not available in multiple quantities. (making me nervous since i filled out the form twice for two, and only received one email… i need the two tickets. i even went to my bank to see if both purchases went through, but both are still pending. i intend to bring a print out from my bank to the theater if i need to)
So how do you get the ticket? Someone please help!!!!

FOR ALL YOU WHO STILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH TICKETS
All you need to do is Purchase the ticket, and when you get your confirmation email you need to PRINT THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. If you read at the bottom of the mail in bold letters it says: “Please print out this page -it is necessary for admission.”
Once you have done that all you need to do is show up at the place with your print and an ID to confirm that it really is you!
