Last week, Japanese video game developer Child-Dream released their first officially translated English visual novel, A Scar of the Doll on iOS-compatible devices. Written by Hidehisa Miyashita, who wrote the scenario for the cult classic action-RPG Folklore, the tale revolves around a girl named Asumi and her sister who disappeared in Japan.
As the company’s first foray into the English visual novel market, the game is currently for sale at the reduced price of 99 cents. A bargain for a game with four to six hours of gameplay.
