Let’s be honest. How many people here want to learn Japanese for the sake of being able to play games and understand them? I know that I’m not in the minority when I say that I’m one of them. Thankfully, for those of you patient enough, I found a nice online tutorial on how its possible to learn another language through the power of Bishoujo!
Here’s a link to the webpage Hongfire, where the user stefanus1807 has been kind enough to provide us all with step-by-step instructions on how to use Lingoes 2 to translate your favorite games. Although I can’t attest as to the steep learning curve if you were to start learning from scratch, I think that it’s a very good technique for people who already have a solid foundation, and a year or so of experience with the language.
Want to start today? Then I highly recommend YesJapan as they have free tutorials, games and online classes. Happy gaming! がんばって!
