Some good news from JAST! Read below for their statement:
“We announced at our 2010 Anime Expo panel that we would be shortly fulfilling the promise issued along with our release of Princess Waltz, that the Software Defender content management system present on the package edition would be removed after the initial period of sales had expired. Today we’re happy to announce that we’ve done just that – as of today, customers purchasing the package edition of Princess Waltz can use the code included in the package to visit our download Support website and download a patch that will remove the DRM requirement from the game software once it is installed.
Just install Princess Waltz, download and apply the patch, and you’re good to go!
We plan to continue the rolling release of patches for our Software Defender games, with Cosplay Fetish Academy scheduled for unlocking within the next month or two. Stay tuned for more exciting news from Anime Expo on our plans for the future!
