Smell that? That’s the smell of success, both on the court and off. That’s the smell of Kuroko’s Basketball.

Nescre, the company which previously created scents based on the characters from One Piece, is at it again with another popular shonen manga - Kuroko’s Basketball. Don’t want to smell like salty sea pirates? Then maybe you’d prefer smelling like a high school basketball player!

The Kuroko’s Basketball perfumes will be out in 2013, with five scents in all, each based on a different character from the popular basketball series. Perfumes based on Kuroko and Kagami will be out in February, with Kise, Midorima and Aomine coming in March. All five will be available for purchase from Bandai Premium for 3,765 yen a bottle, or about $45 each.

The question is — what will these scents be based on? Will Kuroko’s perfume be as unnoticeable as he is? Will Kagami’s be strong and in your face? What do you think? What type of scents would you expect from these basketball stars? Which character’s perfume would you try out?
