Take three days off, Go to Sacramento and Call Me in the Morning…
Let’s be honest here, as much fun as Anime Expo was this year, we all knew that it would only last four glorious days. No matter how much we may want it to continue, all of the Guests of Honor, panels and insanity has to end somewhere. Thankfully, that doesn’t mean that your con experience has to end! For those of you lucky enough to live in Northern California, or even Southern California, Sac-Anime presents a unique opportunity for anime fans everywhere. A chance to recover from some of that post-con depression between September 3-5, and once again don your favorite Naruto or Bleach cosplay!
What’s there this year you may ask? Lots! Featuring several high profile American voice actors and actresses, Liam O’Brien (Akihiko/Persona 3, Gaara/Naruto), Ali Hillis (Lightning/Final Fantasy XIII, Dr. Liara T’Soni/Mass Effect), Steve Blum (Spike/Cowboy Bebop), comic creator/live artist Billy Martinez and a live performance by singer Mari Iijima (Super Dimension Fortress Macross), Sac-Anime may just be the perfect convention for you!
In its fifth consecutive year, the convention will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento. Other events include a maid cafe ran by the Neko Neko Maid and Hostess Club, an artist alley, AMV Contest, Manga Contest and of course an exhibition hall! So, be sure to register early between July 1st and August 15th for the entire weekend for only $25.00! Now that’s a bingo! Please go to http://www.sacconventions.com/ for more details and maybe we’ll see you there!
