With Sakura-Con already past, and Anime Central and of course Anime Expo coming up in July, cosplayers nationwide may be panicking over where to purchase their upcoming costume for their favorite characters. While some people may still prefer to make their costumes by hand, and be the envy of all con-goers in the process, let’s face it time is something that we would all like a lot more of. As someone who used to make his cosplay outfits by hand, I can attest to that. Ever since I got my current job, I simply don’t have the time that I would like to painstakingly sew a costume anymore. So for anyone facing a similar dilemma, I’ve compiled a list of the BEST sites out there that aren’t Amazon or eBay.
CosplayFU.com: Not only is this site famous for their high quality products, but their excellent customer service puts them ahead of the pack. With discounts, a friendly user-interface and tons of costumes ranging from Angel Beats! to Vocaloid, chances are you can find your much-needed costume on this site.
CosplayMagic.com: Although their costumes are a tad bit more expensive than the average site, their high quality commissions are definitely something to look into if you can’t find your particular character from their massive selection. Let them know your deadline, and they’ll price accordingly.
HelloCosplay: Reasonably priced, a huge selection, what more could you ask for? How about, excellent customer service? Check. For anyone who may be looking for costumes that are non-anime related, HelloCosplay has a fine number of other costumes including Sweeney Todd and Star Trek.
MoonCostumes: Although the site is a bit expensive and may appear that it’s more catered towards the general consumer for Halloween, the site has a very good selection of mainstream costumes from Air Gear to Hunter x Hunter. Their costumes are also very high quality and can be customized to tailor your body.
QQCosplay Design Studios: Whether you are looking for costumes, wigs or props, QQCoslay has you covered. Not only do they ship worldwide, but they take commissions as well so you can dress up as Mogu and Pigu from Fancy Lala.
Although it’s not a cosplay shop, Cosplay.com is a great and valuable resource for anyone looking for any cosplay tips. With a great community, chances are that you can get any of your questions answered here. If you have any additional sites that you use or recommend, feel free to add it in our comments section below. Happy cosplaying!

Dude! I remembered the days when we learned how to sew in order to cosplay only because anime costumes weren’t sold anywhere. Funny how times have changed.
another one yourocplsy.com

Recently, I find a good place to buy high quality but cheap cosplay costumes. xcoser.com
Unfortunately, my experiences with both CosplayMagic and QQCosplayDesign have both yielded exceedingly poor fabric choice and lackluster quality in both appearance and longevity. While not necessarily true, many fans will point out the differences between “costumes” and “cosplay” when it comes to the quality and authenticity of their outfits.
I have had very poor experience with CosplayMagic too- both costume and customer service!!
I have bought from cosplaymagic.com two times and the quality on the costumes are not so great, but I found fm-anime.com and i think it’s a really good place to buy from! The prices are ok and the costumes look amazing! Look at their Sailor Moon cosplays, they’re beautiful! I haven’t bought from there myself, but I think I will soon.
If you like cosplay you’ll love my etsy shop were I sell custom made plushy clips including items from pokemon, gurren lagan, and dragon ball! More to come soon and I accept requests.

Theres only one really trustworthy cosplay site: Cosplay Gamer, they sell alot of really nice video game costumes, weapons, wigs, and accesories
The site is http://cosplaygamer.com/
they offer 1 year warranty so your guaranteed to like your costumes or you get 100% of your money back. thats one of the main reasons I get all my cosplay stuff there.
they also have free shipping, free returns, store credit, and photo contests. i was really suprised when i ordered my first assassins creed costume, it arrived at my door in 1 week and the costume was perfect fitting, comfortable, and the quality was above average too

Likewise, my experiences with both CosplayMagic, QQCosplayDesign, and cosplay gamer (above) came with some poor fabric choice. The appearance and longevity did not match the picture.
After many hours of research and the past experience over 3 years, I came across another site that was referred by a friend who bought his Bleach and Naruto outfit. It is called “Cosplay Checkout” and they likewise have free shipping over 100 dollars.
So with this in mind, I decided to try them out for my new “Naruto Hatake Kakashi Deluxe Cosplay” and I waited for about 2 weeks, out of a box with transparent bag. Inside was this new costume!
Therefore, I would like to appreciate the value of money and the time/effort they put onto it
Here is the website for those who want to check it out: http://www.CosplayCheckout.com
Thanks,
George
You seriously make it seem so easy with your demonstration but I find this concept to be honestly a thing that I believe I’d by no means understand. The whole thing just goes over my head because of how intricate and broad it all is.. I am looking forward to your future publishings, I will try to get the grasp of it.
I can vouch for CosplayFU being a good place to buy costumes from; I bought two maid dresses from them and am very pleased with how they came out as well as the worksmanship and fit. The service also was very good as they were prompt in responding to my questions and worked with me to make sure the dresses met my specifications.
Also, I recommend Cosplay House…I’ve gotten three costumes from them and all three times, the quality has been great (good fabric used and quality worksmanship
I’m a cosplayer and the passion and joy it gives me is second to none!
Let me share you one of my favorite site resource on cosplay outfits. It is on http://cosplaysushi.com/ where you can find the best of the best cosplay outfits with reliable qualities.
