Aniplex USA has made more official what they previously made official at their live panel on YouTube — supernatural anime Nisemonogatari will be making its way to Blu-ray in North America on February 26. Nisemonogatari will be making it’s North American Blu-ray debut in a limited edition Blu-ray box set.

Nisemonogatari is the direct sequel to Bakemonogatari. Both series follow semi-vampiric high school student Koyomi Araragi as he deals with the occult threats that face his family and friends. The series has a little bit of everything — action, comedy, harem, incest…yup, everything. We reviewed both Nisemonogatari and Bakemonogatari last year.

The limited edition release of Nisemonogatari features all 11 episodes of the series on 5 Blu-ray discs with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Bonuses include a 36-page deluxe booklet, textless openings and endings, and more.

“If you are a fan of the Monogatari series, the Nisemonogatari Blu-ray box set is a must own item for your collection” says Hideki Goto, the president of Animation Business of Aniplex of America.

Aniplex released Bakemonogatari on Blu-ray late last year. A prequel to the series, Nekomonogatari (Black), recently aired in Japan.

Nisemonogatari is currently available for pre-order from Right Stuf! and other retailers.
