‘Hyperdimension Neptunia’ Gears Up for Summer 2013 Anime

Popular Playstation 3 game series Hyperdimension Neptunia will be getting an anime adaptation this coming summer from David Production.

Based on NIS America’s popular Neptunia game series, the story gives an animated look at the real-life video game console wars through the world of Gamiindustri. As previously reported, the latest game in the series, which goes retro by looking at the console wars of the 1980s, comes out in North America this coming March. Think of it as Hetalia, but where instead of countries being turned into cute boys, it’s console companies being turned into countries. Sorta.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the latest game and the upcoming anime.
